RBSE 10th Result 2027: Rajasthan Board Secondary Result Date, New March Calendar and Two-Exam Plan

In 2026, the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER / RBSE) did something new. It declared the Class 10 result on 24 March 2026, about two months earlier than usual. Until 2025, Rajasthan students waited until late May for their Secondary result. The state’s Education Minister described March results for both Class 10 and 12 as a first in the board’s history.

So the RBSE 10th Result 2027 could come as early as March 2027, if the board keeps its new calendar. A bigger change may also be on the way: RBSE has proposed holding Class 10 board exams twice a year from 2027. This page explains what is confirmed, what is still a proposal, and how to plan for both.

What Changed in 2026: Rajasthan’s New Early Calendar

For years, RBSE followed a slow cycle, with exams in March and results in late May. In 2026 the board:

  • Moved the Class 10 exam to 12–28 February 2026, one of the earliest in the country.
  • Evaluated answer books quickly and declared the result on 24 March 2026, less than a month after the last paper.
YearResult datePass %
202624 March94.23%
202528 May93.60%

What this means for 2027: if RBSE keeps the same calendar, and it has shown every sign of doing so, expect exams in February 2027 and the result in late March or early April 2027. Class 11 admissions in Rajasthan could then also start earlier, so be ready.

The Proposed Twice-a-Year Class 10 Exam

The RBSE secretary has said that the board sent a proposal to the Rajasthan government to hold Class 10 board exams twice a year from 2027, in February and May. As of now:

  • The proposal still needs government approval.
  • The detailed rules have not been announced: whether the second exam is optional, how many subjects you can retake, and which score counts.

Other boards that have introduced two exams, such as CBSE, generally keep the first exam as the main one and use the second as an optional chance to improve. Until RBSE issues a notification, prepare for the February exam as your main board exam. We will update this section as soon as there is an official decision.

How to Check the RBSE 10th Result 2027

  1. Go to rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in or rajresults.nic.in.
  2. Click Main Examination Results 2027, then Secondary Examination 2027.
  3. Enter your roll number from the admit card.
  4. Submit and download your provisional marksheet.

Other ways (used in 2026):

  • SMS: RJ10 <space> Roll Number to 5676750 or 56263
  • DigiLocker: Schools give students a 6-digit access code to download the digital marksheet.

Passing Rules

  • 33% in each subject and 33% overall.
  • Divisions are shown on the marksheet: first (60% and above), second (45–59%), third (33–44%).
  • Theory and internal / practical marks are shown separately where they apply.

Scrutiny: Re-checking Your Marks

After the 2026 result, RBSE opened scrutiny in April 2026 at ₹300 per subject. Scrutiny checks:

  • whether all answers were marked, and
  • whether marks were added and entered correctly.

The board does not re-mark answers under scrutiny. Apply through your school or the board website within the notified dates, which usually come a week or two after the result.

Supplementary Exam

Students who fail in one or two subjects can take RBSE’s supplementary exam and clear those subjects without repeating the year. With results now coming in March, the supplementary exam may also move earlier than the traditional July–August slot. Watch the board’s notice after the result.

Common Mistakes on Result Day

  • Picking the wrong result link. The board also publishes Class 5, 8, Praveshika and other results on the same portal.
  • Using unofficial “name-wise” result pages. Official RBSE results are by roll number.
  • Not collecting the DigiLocker access code from school. Without it, you can’t download the digital marksheet.
  • Assuming the two-exam system is final. It is a proposal until the government approves it.

After Class 10 in Rajasthan

  • Class 11 streams: Science (Maths / Biology), Commerce and Arts. Science seats in popular government and private schools fill fast, and with results in March, admission windows may open earlier than you’re used to.
  • Polytechnic diploma: Rajasthan’s government and private polytechnics admit students after Class 10, through the state’s diploma admission process.
  • ITI: Trade courses through the state ITI admission portal, usually after the board result.
  • Coaching decisions: Many Rajasthan students start JEE / NEET coaching in Class 11. An early result gives you more time to choose a school and coaching schedule that fit together.
